Second fan blades, front stub shaft and a rear shaft. This two stage fan is driven by two stage low pressure turbines. Dimensions are approximately 3.5? dia.by 2.5?length. Material consists of Titanium6-4, 17 beta, 8-1-1. Applicable to: F101-102 Engine. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 3 ea. Mar, 2 ea. Apr, 2 ea. May 2004. A quantity between 4 ea and 9 ea will be acquired. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award at this time the Government?s BEQ is 7 ea. The following quantity ranges for pricing purposes will be solicited. (3-6 ea) and (7-9 ea) NO DATA /DRAWINGS AVAILABLE. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. The approximate issue/response date will be 11 Nov 03. The anticipate award date is 31 Jan 04. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. General Electric Aircraft Engines is the only qualified/known source. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
