Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F61040-03-T-0026. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 and DFARS Change Notice 2002-0002. All responsible sources shall submit a written proposal, which will be considered. Facsimile submissions will also be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the solicitation is 337127; the small business size standard is 500. This combined synopsis/solicitation is unrestricted. Item/Services Description: ITEM NO 0001, Set of telescopic bleachers. 8 rows with 9" bench and 24" path 40' long, made of hard plastic must be powered. Color blue. ITEM NO 0002, Set of telescopic bleachers. 8 rows with 9" bench and 24" path 16' long, made of hard plastic must be powered Color: Blue. ITEM NO 0003, Divider curtain, electrical powered, 107' long 25' tall, blue and made from vinyl ITEM NO 0004 installation of all items. NOTE: For line item 0001, 0002, and 0003 FOB POINT IS CONSOLIDATION & CONTAINERIZATION POINT, NEW CUMBERLAND, PA OR NORFOLK, VA, DEPENDING ON SIZE AND WEIGHT OF EQUIPMENT. PLEASE PROVIDE NUMBER OF PIECES TO SHIP, ESTIMATED WEIGHT AND ANTICIPATED SHIPPING DATE AND SHIPPING CHARGES. For line item 0004 acceptance will be when all bleachers and curtain is installed and approved by government representative. PROPOSAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price offer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications. All items must be commercial in their offer. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
