- Description
- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends on procuring calcium hypochlorite tablets for Rainbow Bay Marina, Pearl Harbor, HI. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 422690 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. A single award will be made to the technically acceptable low price. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation w ill not be issued. Reference RFQ number N00604-03-T-B298 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14 and Defense Change Notice 20030620. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for the following CLINS. CLIN 0001: CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE TABLET 3-INCH TABLET, MIN 65%, 55# PAIL, QUANTITY OF 800 EA. CLIN 0002: UNBALANCED CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE GRANDULAR, 50#, QUANTITY OF 20 EACH. CLIN 0003: FREIGHT & DELIVERY, 1 lot. FOB Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Inspection and acceptance are at destination. Specify delivery date after receipt of order for all CLINS. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror?Commercial; and FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items, apply to this requirement. Offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provisio n at FAR 52.212-3 with its offer. In addition, offeror shall submit a Material Safety Data Sheet with its offer. Failure to submit the Material Safety Data Sheet may result in the offeror being considered nonresponsible and ineligible for award. The following FAR clauses apply to the requirement: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order?Commercial Items. The following clauses under FAR 52.212-5 apply to this requirement: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veteran s of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act?Supplies; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration; and FAR 52.247-64, Preference for Privately Owned U.S.-Flag Commercial Vessels. In addition, the following clauses apply to the requirement: FAR 52.223-3, Hazardous Material Identification and Material Safety Data; and DFARS 252.223-7001, Hazard Warning Labels. The Government plans to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation. This requirement is subject to FY03 expiring funds.
