- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Project No. G00-0950(1)G,S, Green Country Road, is a proposed grade, drain, and paving project, approximately 0.26 miles in length. The project consists of grading, drainage structures, constructing aggregate base, asphalt paving, signing, seeding, sodding, erosion control, and striping. Green Country Road begins at the southeast section corner of Section 8, T16N, R22E, and extends northerly along the east line of section 8, Tl6N, R22E, for a distance of approximately 0.26 mile, of the Indian Base Meridian, Cherokee County, Oklahoma. The cost range of construction is between $250,000 to $1,000,000.00. Request bid documents on or after October 20, 2003. The request should be accompanied with a $50.00 (non-refundable) cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to the Bureau of Indian Affairs and submit to Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office, Branch of Contracts, Room 217, P. O. Box 8002, 3100 W. Peak Blvd., Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402. Cash, Personal or Company Checks will not be accepted. Bid opening will be held on November 20, 2003, 10:00 A.M., Local Time at the place of bid opening, Room 217, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Local time, November 04, 2003, Branch of Contracts, Room 217, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CFR 14.1.354, requires preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises.
