Description

Notice of Intent: The 325 Contracting Squadron, Tyndall AFB intends to issue a sole-source award to the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress for DOD Fire Certification seals. DOD Manual 6055.6, Fire and Emergency Services Certification Program, specifies that the designated program management office maintain accredited agency status and membership with the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC). The Government intends to acquire the commercial supplies using FAR Part 12 and 13.106-1(b). Interested firms have four days from the publication of this combined synopsis/solicitation to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their product's specification and offers. Responses received after 03 Nov 03 or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis/solicitation and will not be considered for this procurement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the contracting officer.
