Description

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) intends to solicit and award an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract for a base year with four one-year options for web casting services. The contractor will be required to produce and distribute live and archived web casts of Safety Board events and maintain an online archive of events for a specified period. The events may include public hearings, public meetings and public forums and symposia to discuss and advance interest in certain safety issues. The number of concurrent users accessing a web cast will vary depending on the subject matter under discussion and is expected to range from 500 for most Board Meetings to as many as 5,000 for a high-interest public hearing. The NTSB estimates that web casting services will be needed on 30 days annually. The events will be held at the NTSB Conference Center, Washington, D.C. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on 20 November and will close December 5, 2003, with award prior to the end of the calendar year. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
