Description

The Presidio Trust (Trust) is soliciting indications of interest in an anticipated solicitation for information technology infrastructure and telecommunication services (IT) to commercial, residential and governmental tenants (tenants) of the Presidio Trust of San Francisco, California. These services include traditional telecommunication services such as voice, data and internet access for tenants, and traditional information technology services such as desktop support, email systems, help desk, web hosting, and backup power that could be offered to tenants. The Trust is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in order to survey the market to identify interested parties and potential IT service providers, to allow industry to provide feedback on the feasibility of the Trust?s proposed requirements, and to allow potential Respondents greater lead time for proposal related decisions and activities. The Trust is conducting these activities to verify and maximize the probability of, adequate competition for the anticipated solicitation. The Trust would like to leverage the expertise and creativity of potential service providers and cultivate the broadest possible range of industry-generated approaches responsive to the Trust?s requirements and needs. We invite all interested parties to comment on this Request for Information (RFI), the Trust?s proposed requirements, and the draft scope of services for the Request for Proposals (RFP). It is anticipated that, after a review of the responses to the RFI, the Trust will issue an RFP for these requirements. For the upcoming RFP, proposals will be reviewed for consideration from firms with five years of similar experience, however for the RFI we are soliciting feedback from all interested firms on the Trust?s proposed requirements, and the draft scope of services for the RFP, including the five years of experience. This RFI and the anticipated RFP may be canceled at any time at the sole discretion of the Presidio Trust. The Presidio Trust is exempt from the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
