Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure a total of 50 18,000 hour Paxman Overhaul Engine Kits (ACN 2815-01-LG8-1175) for the U.S. Coast Guard YARD over the next five (5) years @ ten (10) kits per year. The kit?s detail parts list will be included in the solicitation package. The original equipment manufacturer of the overhaul kits is Man B&W (i.e. Paxman). The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center intends to award this requirement as a 5 years (Base plus four (4) Option Years) contract using commercial practices. Interested sources must be able to provide a written statement of certification that all parts are manufactured by Man B&W Diesel (i.e. Pazman) OEM or under the express written consent of the OEM IAW OEM specifications and OEM Quality control programs and must be able to meet the minimum salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics identified in the solicitation package. All responsible offers shall be considered by the Agency. NAIC CODE 423860 AND size standard 100. Request for Quotation Number DTCG40-04-R-40006 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about 14 November 2003. F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Delivery shall be no later than 75 calendar days after the date of contract award.All information necessary to submit a responsive offer shall be included in the solicitation package. Hard copies of the solicitation package shall not be issued from this office. Interested parties should utilize the Register to Receive Notification function. Any admendments issued to this synopsis will be posted in FEDBIZOPS. Delivery shall be See Numbered Note 23.
