- This is a Total Small Business Set Aside requirement for the overhaul of MH53J Heater Assy. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the MH53J Heater Assy. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The contract period will be one year with four one-year options. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1660-01-428-9054, P/N 15D91-1; Noun: Heater Assy; Applicable to MH53J aircraft; Basic Year Quantity, 72 each; Option I Year Quantity, 72 each; Option II Year Quantity, 72 each; Option III Year Quantity, 72 each; Option IV Year Quantity, 72 each. Item 0002: Overhaul/Modify NSN 1660-00-930-2734, P/N 15D91 to be delivered as NSN 1660-01-428-9054, P/N 15D91-1; Noun: Heater Assy; Applicable to MH53J aircraft; Basic Year Quantity, 5 each; Option I Year Quantity, 5 each; Option II Year Quantity, 5 each; Option III Year Quantity, 5 each; Option IV Year Quantity, 5 each. Item 0003: Over and Above Work; Item 0004: Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): on or before 6 each per month after receipt of order and reparables. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/source approval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC (405) 739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: Oxwell, Inc.., Cage Code 27976, and Kelly Aerospace Power Systems, Inc., Cage Code 0MJG0. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 20 Nov 2003. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
