Description

Performance of Work for 3172 Retention Pond Valve Replacements 1. Company to supply all labor, materials, transportation, and supervision to replace two motors operated butterfly valves including electrical disconnect and connect. Valves shall be tested upon completion of work. The valves are a part of the hanger deck drainage system for building 3172 at Air Station Cape Cod. The valves are in a 6 ft x 7ft vault, 7 ft deep and opening of 2 ft x 2 ft square opening. Existing valves are one 14? butterfly valve and one 6? butterfly valve. Replacement valves shall be equal to or be the same as follows. a) 6? Flowserve Butterfly Valve ?water style? Model #1WA-121TTG with a #44200 electric actuator for on/off control: 120VAC 50/60HZ one phase with manual override ability (to operate manually) and position indicator. b) 14? Flowserve Butterfly Valve ?water style? Model #1WA-121RTG with #44600 electric actuator for on/off control: 120VAC 50/60 HZ one phase with manual override ability (to operate manually) and position indicator. 2. Work shall be done during normal working hours which are Monday thru Friday 0730 to 4 PM. Due to the location of existing valves, which are in an underground vault, the installer will follow all confined space procedures.
