Description
DTCG87-04-B-643017 - Installation of Government-furnished Model TB-46-MDDT drive-thru modified downdraft paint booth, manufactured by Spray Systems, Inc. The work includes providing all materials, equipment, labor, supervision and transportation necessary to: (1) Uncrate, assemble and install a Government-furnished packaged 20'-4" wide x 18'-2" high x 45'-10" working depth (outside dimensions) drive-through paint booth per the requirements of NFPA-33 and the paint booth manufacturer. The Contractor shall unload and stage equipment on site, layout the equipment on the facility floor, secure and erect all steel framing, assemble the paint booth, provide support for the structure during assembly, anchor the equipment to the facility floor, install ductwork providing any necessary offsets and supports, square the structure, tighten all bolts, caulk all panel seams, install light fixtures, connect power to the paint booth?s control panel (the Government will provide power up to the control panel), and install conduit and conductors for packaged components. The packaged unit includes a make-up air unit, exhaust fan, ductwork, lighting, controls, control panel and filters. The installation contractor shall be responsible for providing material to support and seal the ductwork, anchor the paint booth to a concrete floor, support the make-up air unit, all electrical conduit and conductors required between the paint booth?s control panel and all electric power consuming devices included in the paint booth package and any other miscellaneous materials required to perform the work; (2) perform a site visit prior to mobilization to inspect the paint booth?s components; (3) design and install a fuel supply piping system for the furnaces of both the new paint booth and an existing paint booth in the same vicinity. The new fuel supply system shall utilize an existing 2000 gallon fuel oil tank that is currently installed at the facility; (4) complete all work within 30 calendar days from the date the Contractor receives the Notice of Award from the Contracting Officer. It is imperative that the Paint Spray Booth be fully functional by the contract completion date or the Government could experience the substantial cost of shipping buoys for painting elsewhere and the contractor could be assessed damages. The Contractor shall organize and perform the work in such a manner so as to ensure the paint booth is fully functional by the contract completion date. This may include multiple shifts and overtime. A seven-day workweek is authorized, including work on Federal Holidays. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis. All responsible offerors may submit an offer. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990. Award will be based on a best value determination by the contracting officer considering price and the non-price factors specified in the solicitation.
