- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues a formal Invitation For Bid (IFB) see written solicitation posted this date to the following website: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No fax or telephone requests will be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. It is essential for offerors to register on the Solicitation Mailing List Application for this solicitation to receive notification of any/all amendments. Amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the above web sites only. All questions must be submitted in writing to Vickie Veeder, Contracting Pfficer (P4CONT), PVAMC, PO 1034, Portland, OR 97207-1034. Fax number is 503 402-2914. The Vancouver Division of the Portland VA Medical Center is seeking commercially available services from a licesnsed offeror for the Portland/Vancouver Metro Area for pickup and disposal of approximately 100,000 lbs. of general trash and specified pick up for yard debris. Service at the Vancouver Division will include: 40 yard general garbage pickup once a week, 30 yard garbage pickup twice a month, and a 30 yard pickup twice a month for yard debris and fees, and Ton Disposal Metro fee.
