Description

The Contractor will be required to pick-up, measure, line bore and deliver the Unit 1 Newport News Turbine head cover and thirty-two existing wicket gate bushings located at the Green Mountain Powerplant. The bushing bores of the turbine head cover will be line bored to a uniform size and then the wicket gate bushings will be machined to fit, installed and line bored. The oversized wicket gate bushings will be provided by the Government. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be made available on or around November 24, 2003. The due date for the RFQ is tentatively scheduled for December 15, 2003. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This acquisition will be full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System code is 811310. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 7694. The small business size standard is $6.0 Million. To recieve a copy of the RFQ, Contractors shall fax a request to the Bureau of Reclamation, Attention: Andy Fox or Shawna Rogers at (406) 247-7798. The fax must include the Contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and Dunn and Bradstreet number. Vendors are required to register in CCR prior to the award of a contract. Information, Central Contractor Registration Handbook and the registration process can be obtained via the CCR web site, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
