- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested from interested parties for the procurement of the following equipment and services: VHF-FM Trunking Radio System consisting of 3 repeaters, controllers and antenna system (combiners, multi-couplers, feedlines, connectors, antennas). 21 each VHF-FM transceivers (Base and Mobile) with associated installation accessories and special items for use on the above VHF trunking system. 7 each VHF marine mobile radios and 2 VHF Marine base radios, all with IMO DSC capability. 1 each NAVTEK Receiving System. 1 each Marine Channel Remote Relay system. 2 each HF-SSB Radio Base Stations (500 Watt) with associated installation accessories for Marine Service Communications. All the above equipment will require installation in Belize for use by the Belize Port Authority. Bidder must provide installation of equipment and access to suitable repeater site (on a fee basis) for the installation of VHF Trunking System repeaters, antennas and associated items per the Statement of Work. On going warranty maintenance and system monitoring (fee basis) shall be provided by winning bidder. This solicitation is for a turnkey procurement, installation, maintenance and training requirement as specified in the Statement of Work for this project. The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference and are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. No addenda apply to these Provisions and Clauses. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.246-15, (APR 1984), Certificate of Conformance. No additional FAR clauses apply. The contractor will be required to ship directly to American Embassy in Belize City, Belize by commerical air freight. Packaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment from CONUS to final destination without repacking or incurring damage during shipment and handling. All pricing shall be quoted FOB destination in Belize City, Belize.
