Description

Seeking qualified sources interested in sponge-jet blasting (low pressure) Naval Training Pool at NAS Pensacola, FL. Approximately six years ago the pool was resurfaced with an exposed aggregate finish called "Diamond-Brite", and a 3-M sealer was applied. Over the years, the sealer has degraded by separating from the finished surfaces causing dark areas, and discoloration of lane markers. The Government technical representative has recommended removal of sealer by sponge blasting process. Pool dimensions are 165.5'L X 76.5'W X 7.5'D (average). Contractor shall be responsible for draining, refilling and setting-up/maintaining/monitoring well point system. The project shall be completed between the dates 19 December 2003 through 04 January 2004. All qualified and interested sources are asked to contact the Contracting Officer, Thomas A.
