Description: NA This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for lodging rooms, conference rooms, projection screens, banquet meal, and coffee/beverages/snacks for the Chicago Recruiting Battalion's Annual Training Conference to be held 19-21 December 2003. Location must be within approximately 50 miles of Highland Park, Illinois. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR 13 and the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this not ice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) under W911SA-04-T-0004. This request for quotations and inc orporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. This action is unrestricted; the NAICS code and applicable size standard is 721110 and $6.0 million. A fixed price contract is anticipated for 6 line items. The Government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis. CLIN 0001, Quantity 430 EA (215 rooms on 19 Dec 03 and 215 rooms on 20 Dec 03), Lodging Rooms, Standard. CLIN 0002, Quantity 430 EA, Resort Fee (2 days x 215 rooms). CLIN 0003, Quanti ty 3 EA, Conference Room (Large) (seating approximately 70 attendees each). CLIN 0004, Quantity 6 EA, Breakout rooms (seating approximately 25-60 attendees) with coffee/beverages/snacks to be served for a total of two days. CLIN 0005, Quantity 215 EA, Ba nquet Meal on 20 Dec 02, to be served to 215 persons. Buffet style to include 2 meat entrees, 1 vegetarian entree, 2 vegetable entrees, salad, rolls/butter, 3 dessert entrees, coffee and tea.
