Description

NA The purpose of this amendment is to delete, THE GOVERNMENT HAS RIGHTS TO THE TECHNICAL DATA, THE DATA PACKAGE. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. FIRMS THAT RECOGNIZE AND CAN PRODUCE THE REQUIRED ITEM DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE ENCOURAGED TO IDENTIFY THEMSE LVES COMPLETE, AND THERE ARE NO TECHNICAL DATA, ENGINEERING, TOOLING OR MANUFACTURING RESTRICTIONS, NOTES 1,22, and to incorporate; This item is restricted to CMC Electronics (Vendor Code 90073). This part must be acquired from the manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DOD-STD- 100. Suitable technical dat a, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DOD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review disclosures that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. All responsible sourc es may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depende nt upon the date of release for solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to closing date stated above.
