Description

The United States Marshals Service, San Antonio, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide accurate title searches/title information for the pre-seizure, seizure and forfeiture of property with the Federal Judicial district of the entire Western District of Texas The Contractor must provide title searches when requested by the USMS for Austin, Del Rio, El Paso, Midland, Odessa, Pecos and San Antonio, Texas Cities, and surrounding and requested counties, comprised of 67 counties(Entire list to be provided in Solicitation and RFQ) To be available on December 5, 2003. Contractor must provide chain of history of property showing all grantors and grantees from the common source of tite and copies of all deeds pertaining to the chain of history. Expedited requests will be provided within five workdays and title searches moving through the natural process shall be received in fourteen days. Actual Quantities are unknown, Government estimate is 200, but may be higher or lower. Contractor must have appropriate licenses for handling these services and be prepared to provide along with example package to include all requested information. The solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Solicitation package will be available on December 5, 2003. All small responsible sources are encouraged to respond to the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information.
