- Description
- The contractor shall conduct Change Workshops tailored to the specific needs of DFAS? mission, culture, and environment and to the particular needs of a business line and or site. These sessions shall enhance the participant?s ability to deal more effectively with constant change, understanding of how the changing composition of the DFAS workforce affects them, awareness of tools and information that are available, capacity to better align their individual competencies with the work of the organization. The vendor will present a course, entitled Pilot Course in the contract schedule, to an audience that is representative of that for whom the course is intended with the addition of observer(s) from the DFAS Core Curriculum Program. The observer(s) will normally be the COR and other government personnel with technical competence in the subject matter of the course. The pilot course will be conducted within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of award, on a date mutually agreed to by the Government and contractor at a place determined by the Government. Should a date not be mutually agreed upon, the course will be on the date specified in the schedule. The vendor will facilitate coaching change seeions with managers and supervisors in one-on-one or one-to-many learning events. These will be structured to the specific needs of the manager or supervisor. These sessions will be from 4 to 16 hours in length. A pilot class, at a place to be determined, will be presented within 30 days of contract award. After successful completion of the pilot class, task order(s) will be issued to schedule training workshops and coaching change facilitation sessions. All proposals received will be evaluated to determine which proposal provides the "Best Value to the Government". Cost will be a consideration but is not the controlling factor. The contracting office will only respond to requests for the solicitation that are received electronically (by e-mail). Telephonic responses or written reponses will not be honored. To the maximum extent possible, this procurement will be conducted in a "paperless" environment. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about 11 December 2003.
