Description

DESC: This is a requirement for bulk fuel (JP5, JP8, F76, and MUM) in the Atlantic, Europe, and Mediterranean (AEM) region and Northeast Greenland (NEG). These requirements may increase during the delivery period and be met by supplemental solicitations tied to SP0600-04-R-0033. Overseas Bulk Procurement for AEM of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP5), NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5624T, dated September 18, 1998, quantity 19,740,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1d; Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 503,914,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i; and Fuel, Naval Distillate (F76), NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, specification MIL-PRF-16884K, dated November 14, 2002, quantity 80,960,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1b. Delivery period for the above items under Purchase Programs 1.1d, 1.1i, and 1.1b is from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, plus a 30-day carryover period. Overseas Bulk Procurement for NEG of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 17,640,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j; and Gasoline Midgrade, 89 Octa (MUM), NSN: 9130-01-272-0983, specification ASTM D 4814, quantity 200,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j. Delivery period for the above items under Purchase Programs 1.1j is from July 1, 2004 through August 31, 2004, plus a 30-day carryover period for the first year, and from July 1, 2005 through August 31, 2005, plus a 30-day carryover period for the second year. This solicitation will be available only on the world wide web http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about December 19, 2003. Please be advised that a hard copy of solicitation will not be available.
