Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of a Test Administrator for inmates confined at the Bureau Facilities in Seagoville, Texas. The contractor will administer the official General Educational Development (GED), and the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS), and other appropriate examinations in accordance with Bureau of Prison (BOP) testings policies and procedures. The contractor shall have a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. It is highly preferred but not required that the contractor have a teaching certificate and knowledge of the Spanish language. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period. The estimated quantity for the base period is 153 sessions. A session is defined as 8 hours in length. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 22, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is January 23, 2004. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
