Description

NA The Portland District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a contract to Sonic Concepts, Inc, 20018 163rd Ave NE, Woodinville, WA for the supply of Model N201 Autonomous Receiving Nodes - quantity (12), Model E101 Encoded Fish Tag - quantity (1,000), and additional parts for the Model N201 - quantity (12) and Model E101 Encoded Fish Tag - quantity (3,000) for the juvenile salmon survival estimation system. This procurement will be a firm-fixed price contract procured under the authority of the test progra m for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). Statutory authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition exists at 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize and can furnish the required supply are encouraged t o identify themselves to the Contracting Officer for consideration no later than December 10, 2003. If no affirmative response(s) are received to the effect that this is available from another authorized supplier and offered at a lower cost then an award will be made to the aforementioned contractor.
