- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to enter into contract with Stanford University (CIFE) to obtain a Partner-Level Membership with CIFE (Center for Integrated Facility Engineering). Benefits of membership to include the following types of services: Visiting Fellow on site (or at CIFE) for one year; visitation by CIFE faculty members to partner organization; tuition free days at the annual CIFE Summer Conference; votes at Technical Committee and Industry Advisory Boards; the use of CIFE prototypes; and Charrette at member company by Stanford students. The procurement action is to obtain partner-level membership in the construction related organization. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider any responses received by close of business Friday, December 19, 2003. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive negotiation. Inquiries will only be accepted by FAX at 202-501-3836 or by e-mail.
