- Description: Overhaul, Heat Exchanger; NSN: 1660-01-005-5885; P/N: 753332-1; Solicitation Number: FA8103-04-R-0032; Approximate solicitation issue date: 29 Dec 2003 This is a requirement for Overhaul. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The contract period will be a Basic year with seven (7) options. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1660-01-005-5885, P/N 753332-1; Noun: Heat Exchanger Applicable to E-3 aircraft; Basic Period and Option Quantities-10 each. Item 0002: Over and Above Work; Item 0003: Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): 1 each per month after receipt of order and reparables. Qualification Requirements Apply. Award will be made to only those actual manufactures that have successfully completed all qualification requirements prior to award. This solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Approved Sources: Lori/Honeywell (Cage: 63389) and LIMCO (16630) NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
