This requirement if for contractor operated depot level diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of secondary items, assemblies, and subassemblies of the STINGER/LINEBACKER Weapon System. Nomenclature: Vis ion Module Set, NSN: 1430-01-454-0404, MIS-PRF-51955; BFVS-E Control Electronics, NSN: 1430-01-454-0405, MIS-PRF-51954; Stinger Control Box, NSN: 1430-01-454-1858, MIS-PRF-51957, and Stinger Distribution Unit, NSN: 1430-01-454-1859, MIS-PRF-51958. The RFP will be issued to The Boeing Company, 499 Boulevard, P.O. Box 240002, Huntsville, AL 35807. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiat e with only one source. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement make contact with the above listed firm. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and qualit y requirements, is not available.
