Description

Perform 580 Repair Equivilent Units (REUs) of Failure Verification, Repair/Strategic Programs Alterations(SPALT) and Re-certification of IMUs for the MK6 Guidance System. Consolidate and ship Government Furnished Parts and Equipment at the contractor’s facility to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. There is an option for up to an additional 100 REUs for failure verification and Repair/SPALT during the fiscal year. Procurement will be issued to Kearfott Guidance & Navigation, Inc., Wayne, NJ, the only known source with the uniquely qualified personnel and facilities in the field of Intertial Measurement Unit repair and testing to support the TRIDENT II (D-5) Missile program.
