Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: NA The Army Contracting Agency, Capital District Contracting Center, Fort Belvor, VA is procuring Full Food Services and Dining Facility Attendant Services to be performed at USAG Dining Facility, Bldg. 1430, and Granite Cove Dining Facility, Raven Rock Mount ain Complex, Fort Detrick, MD for a base plus four year option periods (not to exceed 60 months if exercised) beginning 1 April 2004. Services shall be rendered FOB destination to Fort Detrick, Md. The contractor shall be required to service breakfast, l unch, dinner seven days a week and when required an expanded meal serving period, midnight meal, and Cook I and Cook II services for Granite Cove. The contract shall be priced on the an approximation of the average number of meals served per day. The con tractor shall furnish all food, personnel, management, supervision, materials, supplies and other items and/or services necessary to provide Full Food Service and Dining Facility Attendant Services at the sites. Contractor tasks shall include but are not limited to: dining facility management; cooking, food preparation; stocking; serving and replenishing; cleaning facilities, equipment and utensils; preparing vegetables and fruit; performing cashier services; and maintaining quality control. Historical in formation concerning the number and types of meals served will be made available in the Request For Proposal (RFP). The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and in conjuntion with the policies and pro cedures fo evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The type of contract will be Firm-Fixed Price with price, technical capability and past performance as evaluation factors. The procurement is %100 set aside for small business and the State Licensing Agency for the Randolph-Sheppard Act under Maryland State Department of Education. The applicable NAICS code is 722310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $17.5 Million. Interested parties must be registered in the Cent ral Contractor Registry (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33.
