Description

NA Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications to provide wheel and axle assembly for GE-EMD general purpose locomotives for Hill AF Base, UT. In general, the wheel and axle assembly shall consist of the following but is not limited to: (a) journals and axles, (b) wear plates and (b) journal box adapters. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 336510. The size standard is 1000. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% S ET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. This will be a requirements contract for a base and four option years. Estimated Request for Quote issue date is 30 DECEMBER 2003. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http: //www.anadprocnet.army.mil (Doing Business With Us). B ids/quotes must be submitted electronically as indicated in the solicitation. CAUTION: This Solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotations may render your quotation non-responsive and result in the rejection of your quotation.
