- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex has a requirement to rent a self-contained compressed air system used to supply high-pressure air for ship service applications including breathing air. The compressed air system will include a compressor, air dryer, closed loop cooling system and other components required meeting these specifications. Rental will begin 12 January 2004 through 11 December 2004. This requirement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5, ?Test Program for Certain Commercial Items?. Award to be FOB: Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Closing date for receipt of offers is 22 December 2003.
