Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) seeks to identify interested small businesses that perform services classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210 ? Facilities Support Services. The small business size standard for this Code is less than $30 million dollars in average gross annual receipts. The qualified firm would be interested and capable of providing all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, equipment and tools required to perform the Consolidated Facilities Management (CFM) functions at the Mid-Atlantic Program Service Center (MATPSC) in Philadelphia, PA. The MATPSC is a building of approximately 570,585 square feet, located at 300 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Contractor responsibilities include: (1) Operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems; (2) Elevator Maintenance; (3) Management of Utility Services; (4) Custodial and Related Services; (5) Security Services; (6) Operation of the Environmental Control Center; (7) Maintenance of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System; and (8) Sustaining Maintenance. The Contract would include a base year plus as many as four option years. The performance period for this effort is expected to begin on or about October 1, 2004. Interested small businesses should respond by January 9, 2004 by submitting complete information about their capabilities. Only written responses will be accepted and must clearly state the ability to provide the services e.g., information detailing their experience, past performance, duties, number and types of personnel engaged in efforts of similar in size, scope and complexity to this requirement. Projects submitted for review should be limited to those being currently performed or completed within the previous 3 years. No cost or pricing data is required or requested. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gather data required to determine if there are sufficient numbers of interested and qualified small businesses to justify setting aside these acquisitions exclusively for small business participation. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited or received. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be issued, nor will respondents be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. Respondents will be informed, in writing, when the pre-solicitation synopsis for this acquisition is released.
