- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award using other than full and open competition, not a request for proposals. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Foreign Visits, Assignments and Travel (SO 30) intends to award a sole source contract to the Project Performance Corporation (PPC), of McLean VA, for continuation of their maintenance/support for the Department?s Foreign Travel Management System (FTMS), a computer software application developed for DOE by PPC and now in use by the Department in tracking, monitoring, reporting and securing requests for foreign travel by DOE contractors and employees. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract for a maximum of five years, a base year with four one-year option periods. This proposed action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties who believe they can provide the services may respond by submitting their capability statements to the contract specialist?s email address in the notice, including prices. All submissions must be received within fifteen calendar days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
