Description

The work to be performed under this solicitation includes: (1) Furnishing, installing, and testing new turbine wicket gate greasing systems to replace the existing greasing systems at Alcova, Boysen, Fremont Canyon, Glendo, Guernsey, Heart Mountain, Kortes and Seminoe powerplants in Wyoming. (2) Disassembling, removing, and disposing of existing wicket gate greasing system equipment, piping, and valving to be replaced in each powerplant. (3) Performing complete cleaning of new turbine wicket gate greasing system equipment, piping, and valving in each powerplant. The estimated price range of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available on January 16, 2004. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before February 5, 2004, and must include Dun & Bradstreet (Duns) number, and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Facsimile request will be accepted at 406/247-7798. The tentative proposal due date is February 19, 2004. The contract is to be completed within approximately 340 calendar days. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed free of charge at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, James F. Batin Federal Courthouse, 316 N 26th, Room 2031, Billings, Montana or at the Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is $12.0 million, and the 2002 NAICS Code is 238220.
