Description

The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type of contract for various quantities of food service clothing such as: (a) chef coats with regional logo embroidered; (b) polo shirts with embroidery of galley names for Cheatham, Yorktown, NAVSTA, NNSY, Little Creek, Oceana and Dam Neck; (c) baggy pants; (d) chef pants; (e) sweatshirts; (f) bib aprons; (g) chef hats; (h) t-shirts; and (i) neckerchiefs. The requiring activity for this requirement is Commander Navy Region MID-LANT (CNRMA) Norfolk, VA. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 Feb 2004 ? 31 Jan 2005, with four one-year options. The NAICS code is 424320. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The RFQ will be issued on or about 29 Dec 03 with a response date of 9 Jan 04. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award.
