- 5999-01-281-6993, Retainer, Shielding; This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 01/20/04, with the Response date on or around 02/19/2004. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Purchase request number: YPE 03323000397; NSN: 5999-01-281-6993, Nomenclature: Retainer, Shielding; Approved source: Technit (TWP) Co. (07700) Part number 65-00029, Parker Hannifin (18565) Part number 19-99-A123-1000; Raytheon Technical (3B150) Part number 11460737. This will be a large purchase contract with a quantity option. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. The basic quantity will be for approximately 26,164 each. All 26,164 pieces will be shipped to New Cumberland, PA. FOB DESTINATION, INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE AT DESTINATION. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. See numbered notes: 26----Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency.
