Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons-Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of comprehensive medical services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution Terminal Island, located in San Pedro, California. The successful contractor shall provide services which include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, outpatient institutional services. The contract type is a firm, fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract term shall consist of a base period extending from the date of award through 12 months with four (4) subsequent, 12 month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities for these periods are as follows: Base Year: 150 Inpatient Days, 500 outpatient visits; Option Year 1: 150 Inpatient Days, 500 outpatient visits; Option Year 2: 150 Inpatient Days, 500 outpatient visits; Option Year 3: 150 Inpatient Days, 500 outpatient visits; Option Year 4: 150 Inpatient Days, 500 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 5, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about April 6, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
