Description

NSN: 1005-01-034-6503, Part Number 11825997. The item to procure is a Release, Barrel for the M240 Machine Gun. Material is steel, INVEST CSTG, IC4130, IC4140, or IC8640, modified with Si 0.20 to 1.20%. 32.70mm long; 76.89mm height; 33.78mm thick; 22.44mm DIA MTG aperture. Heat Treat required. Heavy phosphate coating is required IAW MIL-DTL-16232. FOB is Destination. Requirements are 500 each. The proposed contract will be a 3-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), with an estim ated guaranteed minimum quantity of 500 each. Estimated issue date is 15 January 2004. This action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY 04 requirement. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Packag e (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal, are instructed to complete the Non-Disclosure Agreement provided as an attachment to the solicitation and email it to mcgregors@ria.army.mil. This agreement must be completed before the TDP will be sent. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), company name, point of contact, street address, city, state, zip code, and telephone number. A TDP will be pr ovided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet and the Non-Disclosure Agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the U.S. Government requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively wi thin the U.S. and Canada. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as well as any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incum bent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Notes 1 and 26 apply.
