Description

The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, rigging, facilities, transportation, and equipment required for the annual storage and assembly of the Skating Rink Pavilion, Zamboni enclosure, aluminum ramps, and dasher board system at the National Gallery of Art?s (NGA) skating rink at 7th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. The Contractor shall deliver these items in time to erect them commencing approximately 15 October 2004 and ending no later than 30 calendar days thereafter. Following completion of the skating season in March 2005, the Contractor shall dismantle the structures noted herein, re-crate, transport, and provide material storage. Dismantling, re-crating, and removal of the structures noted herein shall commence approximately 15 March and shall be completed no later than 15 calendar days thereafter. This contract shall be for one year with four one-year options to extend the contract. See Numbered Note 22. The NGA intends to contract for this annual requirement with the following firms, who have unique capabilities: Robinson Iron, Robinson Road, P. O. Box 1119, Alexander City, AL 35011-119 AND Crystalplex Ice Rink System, 6630 Edwards Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario L5T2V6, Canada
