Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform hardwood floor services in residential and nonresidential units in Historic and Non-Historic buildings located at the Presidio of San Francisco, California. Work will be done in both occupied and un-occupied buildings. The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark District. Scope of services may include, but is not limited to: (a) removal, disposal and installation; (b) repair; (c) refinishing; (d) screening and coating of both 5/16? top nailed and ?? Tongue & Groove (T&G) hardwood flooring; (e) and will include stairways (treads, risers & landings) as well as, handrails, thresholds and trim. Proposals will be evaluated based upon the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The Trust anticipates awarding one or more indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (cost reimbursement type) contracts with a base term plus option years. Minimum qualifications include: Valid California Business License and current Certificate(s) of Insurance. Davis Bacon Act and / or Service Contract Act (U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage rates) apply. Interested, qualified companies may request "RFP-2004-011" by fax to Barbara D. RFP will be available approximately January 16, 2004 with proposals due Febnuary 2, 2004. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This solicitation is set aside for competition among Small Business concerns qualified under the criteria and size standards in 13 CFR 121 for NAICS Code 235520 ($12 million), including Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or HUBZone Small Business Concerns, and Minority or Women Business Enterprises certified by the City and County of San Francisco Human Rights Commission. The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
