- Description
- McConnell AFB KS has a requirement to re-tube the number one boiler in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. (1) Superior scotch marine Mtr's # 12425, Nat'l board # 12425 built 1994. (2) Boiler tubes #160 Nat'l spec grade SA178A straight tubes; dia 2 1/2" length 146-1/2" guage .105". (3) Re-tube boiler with 160 each 2-1/2 tubes. The solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside with a size standard of $12.0 Mil. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and award criteria will be based on price and ability to meet manufacturer's recommendations for re-tubing. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The primary North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220. The solicitation package will be available on or around 9 December 2003, via the Government Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at https://www.eps.gov/. It is the responsibilty of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed.
