Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is seeking quotes for the lease of up to six (6) parking spaces for carpools within a two block radius of 1255 22nd Street, NW, Congressional Quarterly Building (formerly West End Court). The solicitation will provide for Full and Open Competition utilizing procedures in FAR Subpart 6.1. The purpose of this requirement is to establish the ridesharing program tailored for the Congressional Quarterly Building, formally West End Court. The objectives are to: 1) promote commuting alternatives that will support the Federal Employees Clean Air Incentives Act; 2) encourage commuting by ridesharing to promote fuel conservation, reduce traffic congestion, and reduce the number of single occupied vehicles. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type purchase order with a base year and four option years. Since this is a simplified acquisition, the procedures in FAR Part 13 will be utilized. The Simplified Acquisition Threshold is $100,000. The applicable NAICS code is 812930 with a small business standard of $6.0 million. The solicitation number is FSIS-08-B-04 and will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be a Full and Open Competition. The solicitation document will be incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-18. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(1), the solicitation will be made available electronically on or about 10 days from the date of this publication. The internet address for downloading the solicitation is http://www2.eps.gov. Availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Notification of any changes to the solicitation shall be made only on the Internet. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
