- Description
- The Department of Energy (DOE) is in the process of recompeting its worldwide medical evacuation service contract. The incumbent contractor is Medex Assistance Corporation. Maximum value of award is $100,000 over three years. Services will be provided to the DOE headquarters (Washington, DC) program offices. The firm will provide assistance to DOE employees on travel in foreign countries, particularly the third world counties were medical care is inadequate. The services are based on availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist DOE employees in locating adequate medical assistance, language interpreting assistance with Doctors and when required - evacuate the employee to another country for modern medical assistance. This is a sources sought notice for any firm who can provide the world-wide medical evacuation services noted above. Interested firms must submit their capability statements for providing world-wide medical evacuation services to debra.draper@hq.doe.gov by January 23, 2004.
