You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-T, Floyd Kit Carlton, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-955-9310. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX4J0005AX, NSN: 1620-00-967-7624, PN: 205-050-152-41, Quantity: 65 each plus two 100% options applicable to the UH-1 Airframe, delivery to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article is 390 Days After Contract Award ( DACA). Required delivery without First Article Testing is 260 DACA. Required delivery with Alternate II is 325 DACA. This item is restricted to approved sources Chem-Fab Corporation, Cage 3H339, Skyline Industries, Cage 09986 and Bell Helicopter, Cage 9 7499 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified sources require acq uisition of the part from the approved sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms a re encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminde d that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470.
