Description

Furnish exclusive-use flight services, fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of one light turbine helicopter (Bell 206 L or equivalent) in support of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources fire suppression program. The contractor must hold a current Federal Aviation Administration Air Carrier or Operating Certificate and be certified under 14 CFR Part 133, Rotorcraft External Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of the contract will be 21 days beginning approximately April 22, 2004 and ending May 12, 2004. The work will be based at Gordon Ranger Station, Gordon, Wisconsin. The estimated number of flight hours in twenty (20). A 120-140 gallon bucket with foam capability is required. Service vehicle and relief crew are required. Pilot(s), aircraft, bucket and service vehicle must meet the Interagency Fire Standards. The contract instrument will be the OAS Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA) and award will be made by modification to a current ARA. Vendors with current ARAs in proximity to the work area will be solicited by the Contracting Officer. Interested vendors not in proximity to Gordon, Wisconsin or without a current ARA should contact the Contracting Officer for assistance in submitting a proposal. (set-aside for small business)
