Description

The Library of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a simplified acquisition contract on a sole source basis to the New York Stock Exchange, 11 Wall Street, New York, New York for payment of dedicated telecommunications services. The dedicated service is located at the SEC's Headquarters and its Operations Center. The service provides for the capability of teleconferencing and communicating with other markets during market disruptions, extreme market volatility, and other conditions. The period of performance is from October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intent of this synopsis is for information purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be issued.
