- Description
- The USDA Forest Service Region 5, Pacific Southwest, intends to do a Standard Competition Cost Study to perform road maintenance, road construction, road reconstruction activities on 16 National Forests throughout the State of California under Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-76 (revised May 29, 2003). This A-76 standard competition ends November 21, 2003. The incumbent service providers presently doing this work are 101 full time equivalent U.S. Forest Service employees and the contractors listed at the end of this document. Persons involved in this competition are the Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) - Edward McPherson, Agency Tender Official (ATO) - Kent Connaughton, and Contracting Officer (C.O.) - Alan M. James. A pre-solicitation meeting is set for July 9, 2003, 10:00 A.M., California local time, McClellan Park, Wildland Fire Training and Conference Center, 3237 Peacekeeper Way, Building 200, Room N110B (Hamm Room), McClellan, CA 95652. This solicitation (a reissuance Solicitation No. RFP-17-03-092D) will be issued July 28, 2003 and will close September 26, 2003.
