- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement for the rework/overhaul of actuators and control boxes utilized on the HH65 aircraft as follow: NSN 6615-01-125-1024, P/N 270-0751-020, Trim Feel Actuator, est. qty. 10 for rework, 25 for overhaul; NSN 1680-01-164-0432, P/N 270-0750-020, Series Actuator, est. qty. 41 for rework, 78 for overhaul; NSN 1680-14-401-5782, P/N 418-00570-000, Anticipator Actuator, est. qty. 50 for rework, 75 for overhaul; NSN 5999-01-HR2-0933, P/N 950-36, Control Box, est. qty. 140 for rework. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all material, parts, tooling, labor, test equipment, technical manuals and facilities. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), SFIM Incorporated, Grand Prairie, Texas. Delivery to ARSC, Elizabeth City is desired within 30 days after receipt of material. The USCG anticipates award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (using FAR Part 12) with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods with the OEM, SFIM, Inc of Grand Prairie, TX in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Offerors must provide a copy of their current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Repair Station Certificate and evidence of their ability to obtain the necessary current specifications, procedures, and manuals from the OEM to be considered for contract award. Technical data is not owned or available from the USCG. Request for the solicitation should be no later than 28 September 2003. Written requests for the solicitation may be faxed to (252) 334-5240.
