- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award sole source contracts to State Agencies for Food Sanitation Inspections of food establishments. The State Agencies must have the authority and capability necessary to gain access to private commericial establishments in order to conduct regulatory inspections in accordance with the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. It is anticipated that awards will be made for a one year contract period with a possible one additional option year. The solicitation will be avaiable on or about February 27, 2004, on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for the release of the solicitation and amendments. Hard copies will be provided to individuals eligible under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Rehabilitation Act upon request. See Note 22.
