Description

DTCG87-04-R-643058. Steam System Repairs, Phase IVA, U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. The project includes excavation and repair of buried concrete utilidor and two manholes, replacement of condensate piping, replacement of supports, guides, anchors, and expansion joints for steam and condensate piping, and insulating steam and condensate piping. All work shall be completed between May 15, 2004 and August 1, 2004. The contractor shall perform no work at the contract site prior to May 15, 2004 except pursuant to a notice to proceed given by the Contracting Officer. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Selection for award will be based upon best value to the government considering experience, past performance, and price. The Government anticipates award based on initial proposals without discussions. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 2 February 2004) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time for receipt of proposals. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package.
