Description
The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for 1-each, Ka-Band and W-Band Transceiver. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F33TSP33560100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220, with a small business standard size of 750 employees. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for 1-ea, Ka-Band Transceiver with the following specifications: Spacek Model TR35-10-4-1 Rev C or equivalent, 4 downconverter channels, 1 upconverter channel, common LO, includes: RF LNA with 17dB gain, 3.5 dB max. noise figure in each receiver channel, PIN switches in 4 receiver channels and 1 transmitter channel IF amplifiers, RF input/output of 34-36 GHz, WR-28, IF output/input of 9-11 GHz, SMA-F, LO input (internal) 45 GHz, 100 MHz ext. ref., Conversion Loss: 7dB maximum, RF to IF gain: 30dB typical, Upconverter RF output power for +8dBm, IF input: +10 dBm minimum, +17 dBm typical, Channel Isolation: 50 dB minimum, Image or USB rejection: 50 dB minimum, LO Radiation: -40 dBm maximum, LO Frequency stability: +/-5 PPM, VSWR, all ports: 2:1 typical, DC power: +15V, 1.0 Amp and 1 ea-W-Band Transceiver with the following specifications: Spacek Model TR94-10-4-1 Rev. C or equivalent, 4 downconverter channels, 1 upconverter channel, common LO, includes: RF LNA with 17dB gain, 3.5 dB max. noise figure in each receiver channel PIN switches in 4 receiver channels and 1 transmitter channel, IF amplifiers, RF input/output of 94-96 GHz, WR-10, IF output/input of 8.8-10.8 GHz, SMA-F, LO input (internal) 85.2 GHz, 100 MHz ext ref, conversion loss: 8dB maximum, RF to IF gain: 29dB typical, Upconverter RF output power for +6 dBm, IF input: +13 dBm minimum, Channel Isolation: 50 dB minimum, Image or USB rejection: 50 dB minimum, LO Radiation: -40 dBm maximum, LO Frequency stability: +/-5 PPM, VSWR, all ports: 2:1 typical, DC power: +15V, 1.0 Amp. Transceiver are to be delivered at Eglin AFB FL, FOB Destination, four (4) months after contract award.
