- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price award for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional infor mation included in this notice. This is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Insurance Consultant Services. This in an UNRESTRICTED procurement in the price range of $25,000-$50,000. The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alaba ma, has a requirement to provide Insurance Consulting Services for the Fixed Price Remediation with Insurance (FPRI). The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama, has a requirement to provide Insurance Consulting Services for Fixed P rice Remediation with Insurance (FPRI). Work is to begin by January 2004. This contract will be for a period of one year from date of award. The criteria for selection on this project is to be based on past performance, technical capabilities to perform t he work, responsiveness to Request for Quotation, knowledge of the Fixed Price Remediation Insurance Project, in addition to reasonable cost. A complete copy of the Scope of Work is available and made a part of this solicitation. Additionally, to be consi dered eligible for award, the successful offeror must be registered with the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The following Internet site is provided for registration information: http://www.ccr.gov, or you may call 1-888-227-2433 for a registrat ion package. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to register in the CCR. Also FAR Provision 52.213-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, is to be completed and returned with your quotation not later than 4:00 PM, Central Time, January 27, 2004. The NAICS Code is 541620. The small business size standard in $6.0M. Quotes are to be faced or emailed and followed up by mail. The FAX number is 256-895-1378.
